Homepage
When you enter the basic URL of a Web site (often just the domain
name will get you there) into a browser, you arrive at the homepage.
Like a magazine's cover and table of contents rolled into one, the
homepage introduces users to the purpose of the site, then gives
them some method of navigating through the rest of the pages. If
users get lost or want to explore other areas of the site, they
can return, prodigally or otherwise, to the homepage and follow
a different path into the site.
