Crash, Freeze

You're frantically wiggling the mouse yet the cursor just sits there, mocking you with its motionlessness. Undoubtedly you were just about to save your file. You utter that special "crash" groan (part curse, part "I give in!") and restart your computer, face buried in your hands. Optimists see it as a good time for a break, pessimists think the gods are against them, but mostly crashing, or freezing, is just one of those things. Often rebooting is enough to solve the problem. But sometimes it's a major, hard-drive-swiping, grand-pappy of a crash. Lucky for you, you backed up your system, right? Right?
